I’m sitting where your arms can reach me.
I could throw a stone to beauty.
Everyone who I love is here.
There’s more than ample stimulation,
No excuse for my frustration.
Still the box is pulling me near.
Addictions can come in
All shapes and sizes
Prediction – you’re sucked in by my intellectual disguises
I know it’s a crazy, shallow thing
But just now I’d rather watch ‘The West Wing’
The ringing phone could stop fixation –
A living soul wants conversation,
But not a contest, not even close.
So when does treat become temptation?
When does rest become stagnation?
Creative juices now decompose.
Could this be my real life, perhaps without the edits?
Just one more episode, we can fast forward the credits.
